I've been meeting quite a few german people in London lately. It's great because I can finally practice my german on a fairly regular basis again.

I originally met people through the German Expat Meetup on meetup.com. Through there I was notified of the Towel Club which meets once a month in Soho.

I have now made a couple of good friends through these meetings and can recommend coming along if you want to catch up with fellow country men and women for a couple of drinks in a relaxed social setting.

• deutsche-in-uk.net is a web-site run by Stonki which aims to bring together the online german community in England.
